Harry S Truman College is celebrating National STEAM Day on Thursday, November 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Main Building Cafeteria. The event will feature demos, activities, and competitions that bring science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics to life.
National STEAM Day is dedicated to inspiring curiosity, creativity, and innovation through hands-on experiences that connect academic concepts to real-world applications. By integrating the arts into traditional STEM education, STEAM emphasizes problem-solving, design thinking, and collaboration. These essential skills prepare students for success in school and the modern workforce while also encouraging diversity and inclusion by inspiring students from all backgrounds to explore these dynamic fields.
All City Colleges students are invited on November 13 to celebrate learning, creativity, and the power of STEAM. Visit https://colleges.ccc.edu/event/truman-steam-day-2/ to learn more.
