ST. LOUIS (April 9, 2026) - Copeland, a global leader in compression technologies and controls solutions, will participate in this year's Expo Frío Calor Chile, taking place April 14-16 at Centro Parque in Santiago, Chile. At the event, the company will highlight its latest innovations focused on enabling the transition to sustainable refrigeration systems utilizing low-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants.
As global decarbonization efforts accelerate and environmental regulations continue to evolve, end users and OEMs across Latin America are increasingly seeking solutions optimized for natural refrigerants with low-GWP. Copeland is addressing this challenge by delivering advanced compression technologies and intelligent control solutions that support the adoption of natural refrigerants such as CO₂, while maintaining high levels of efficiency, reliability and operational performance.
At Expo Frío Calor Chile, Copeland will display solutions that help to accelerate the adoption of natural refrigerants, including:
"The transition to natural refrigerants and the increasing demand for energy-efficient solutions are reshaping the refrigeration industry, especially in food retail," said Pablo Ibaceta, national and commercial manager for the Andean region at Copeland. "CO₂-based technologies are gaining momentum as they offer both environmental and operational benefits. Copeland combines deep expertise in CO₂ systems, advanced testing capabilities and strong manufacturing to support customers in this transition."
Additionally, Copeland expert Joana Canozzi will host "Copeland Technologies: Versatility and Innovation in Sustainability Within Our Reach" on Wednesday, April 15, at 3 p.m., in Room 3. The presentation, open to show attendees, will focus on Copeland's solutions designed to meet evolving regulations and the growing demands of commercial refrigeration in urban environments.
