New Greenway Food Truck Program

Raleigh Parks has launched a Greenway Food Truck Pilot to bring more food options to the runners, bikers, strollers, skaters, walkers (and everyone else!) who uses our greenways and parks each day.

This Greenway Food Truck Pilot rental program is being launched at our most heavily used greenway locations around the city:

  1. Anderson Point
At the intersection of Neuse River Trail and Crabtree Creek Trail, the two most heavily trafficked trails in the city's greenway system.
  2. Buffaloe Road Athletic Park
11,500 "Annual Average Daily Drive-by Traffic"; Over 35,000 annual visitors and 6,000 memberships at the Buffaloe Road Aquatic Center
  3. Lake Johnson
Approximately 410,000 annual visitors to the Waterfront Center and 7,000 "Annual Average Daily Drive-by Traffic." The second most active greenway trail segment in the system.
  4. Falls Dam
Fourth most active greenway trail segment in the system. Nearby Forest Ridge Park, which sees over 217,000 annual visitors.
  5. Shelley Lake Park
The most active greenway trail segment in the city, with nearly 1,500 visitors per day. At Sertoma Arts Center, there are approximately 94,000 annual visitors and 11,500 "Annual Average Daily Drive-by Traffic."
  6. Walnut Creek Wetland Center
The Center sees nearly 71,000 annual visitors. At the intersection of the Walnut Creek Trail and Little Rock Trail.
