ADM Columbus Complex Recognized for Workplace Safety Achievements

COLUMBUS, Neb. - ADM (NYSE: ADM), a global provider of innovative solutions from nature, today announced that its Corn Complex in Columbus, Neb., has been recognized by the Corn Refiners Association (CRA) as part of its annual Workplace Safety Awards, honoring facilities that have achieved high standards of safety performance over the past year.

"At ADM, we are committed to maintaining a strong culture of safety across our facilities and continuously improving how we protect our employees. This recognition reflects that ongoing effort," said Todd Good, ADM Columbus site manager. "Ensuring safe operations is important not only for our colleagues, but also for the communities where we operate. We are proud to contribute to a safe and responsible workplace in Columbus."

ADM's Columbus Corn Complex was recognized by the CRA for the following awards:

• CRA Incident Rate Excellence Award

• One Million Hours Award

• Zero Lost Workdays Award

"Corn refining in the U.S. is one of the safest jobs in manufacturing, on par with office work. Today, we celebrate the leaders who have brought our industry to that position with awards that recognize their hard-earned progress," said CRA President and CEO John Bode. "Twenty years ago, our industry's safety record was typical of heavy manufacturing. Now, it is among the safest in the manufacturing sector. This demonstrates what long-term commitment to worker protection and continuous operational improvement can achieve."

The CRA Workplace Safety Awards recognized facilities across the corn refining industry that have demonstrated strong safety performance based on rigorous, data-driven criteria. Awards are based on metrics including total recordable incident rates, absence of lost workday cases, and extended periods of safe operation. According to CRA, industry safety performance levels are comparable to those in office-based environments.
