Chester County Full-Scale Pipeline Exercise Notice
On Monday, October 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the Chester County Department of Emergency Services, East Goshen Township, Westtown Township, and first responder agencies will be participating in a full-scale pipeline emergency exercise at the following locations:
- East Goshen Township Building, 1580 Paoli Pike, West Chester, PA 19380
- Saints Simon and Jude Church and School Parking Lot, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382
- Windermere Apartments, near the intersection of N. Chester Rd. (PA Route 352) and Manley Rd.
During this exercise, community members may see first responders and emergency vehicles near the areas listed above, but there is NO threat to the public. There will be no road closures made for this exercise.
This exercise is designed to practice and test emergency responses to pipeline emergencies by county and municipal staff, pipeline contractors, and first responder organizations. Findings from this exercise will be used to update the County's Pipeline Incident Response Plan.
