Ambassador Zhou Jian attended the Celebration Performances of the 50th Anniversary of China-Fiji Diplomatic Relations and the 10th Anniversary of the China Cultural Center in Fiji

On September 11th, Ambassador Zhou Jian attended the Celebration Performances of the 50th Anniversary of China-Fiji Diplomatic Relations and the 10th Anniversary of the China Cultural Center in Fiji. More than 500 guests including Commander of RFMF, Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament, Chinese community and enterprises personnel, enjoyed a cultural feast of Chinese and Fijian arts.

In his speech, Ambassador Zhou said, tonight we will enjoy the beauty of traditional Chinese and Fijian culture, as part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of China-Fiji diplomatic relations. Artists from China and Fiji work together to show the best of both the Chinese and Fijian civilization, which will reflect our shared wish for China-Fiji relations and global peace and development.

Assistant Minister for iTaukei Affairs Hon. Isikeli Tuiwailevu commended the China-Fiji friendship for promoting cultural exchanges and people-to-people bonds, and expressed his hope that the partnership between the two countries will yield new fruitful outcomes.

Deputy Director of the Culture and Tourism Department of Shaanxi Province Mr. Sheng Yijun delivered a speech.

Artists from Shaanxi Province and Fiji presented a high-caliber cultural performance that captivated the audience. Fijian media covered the event, generating enthusiastic responses and sparking a wave of interest in Chinese culture across Fiji.
