Other financial intermediaries

The assets of other financial intermediaries at the end of June 2025 reached the value of 671.28 million euros, marking an increase of 11.75 million euros or an increase by 1.78% compared to the previous month.

The asset structure of these institutions is dominated by loans, which constitute 74.44% of total assets. Gross loans to other financial intermediaries for this month reached the value of 499.70 million euros, which represents an increase of 7.89 million euros compared to the previous period. By sectors, loans to households dominate with 58.78% in total loans to other financial intermediaries.

The value of new loans issued by other financial intermediaries in June 2025 was 39.57 million euros.

Insurance companies

The assets of insurance companies at the end of June 2025 reached 347.16 million euros, which represents a slight increase of 3.31 million euros. The structure of assets in the insurance sector consists of the balance sheet with commercial banks, which accounts for 48.39%, securities and other assets 25.85% and reinsurance with a participation of 14.01%.

Pension funds

Pension fund assets at the end of June 2025 reached a value of 3.38 billion euros. The asset structure of the pension sector is dominated by shares and equity securities, which constitute 80.26% of total assets..
