CEMAR Trail to Close Near Menards for Several Months to Complete Project
Beginning Monday, March 30, Peterson Contractors will close the CEMAR Trail from the Indian Creek Bridge near Menards to Grand Avenue. This closure is part of the CEMAR Trail Phase 5 project.
The trail will remain closed for several months during Phase 5 construction.
Phase 5 is the final segment of the CEMAR Trail project and will complete the connection between Downtown Cedar Rapids and Uptown Marion.
Trail users are reminded to follow all posted signage and stay out of the work zone for their safety.
