Democrats’ Half-Billion Dollar Tax Scheme Fails… Again
CONCORD, NH - Governor Kelly Ayotte released the following statement after New Hampshire Democrats once again attempted to revive their income tax plan:
"We're not going to MASS up our great state with higher taxes. Today, tomorrow, and every day, no income tax, no sales tax - ever."
New Hampshire Democrats tried and failed to bring back their scheme to increase the business enterprise tax, business profits tax, and meals and rooms tax, as well as reestablish the interest and dividends income tax.
