Callaway Fork Road to Close October 6

The St. Charles County Highway Department will close Callaway Fork Road approximately one mile from Highway F to do maintenance work on a low water crossing. If the weather looks good, the work will start Monday, October 6 and the closure could last a week.

Traffic will need to use an different route around the closure while the work takes place. Local traffic can access either side of the closure location, but no through traffic will be allowed. Signs notifying motorists of the closure and necessary detours will be posted.

This road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the County's road system for the safety of the travelling public.
