Tequila's Serves Up Flavor as September Business Spotlight

For over a decade, Tequila's has called Downtown Clearwater home, welcoming residents and visitors with Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine, margaritas and a place to gather in the heart of Cleveland Street. The family-owned restaurant has built its presence around hospitality and creating an experience customers can return to.

For General Manager Amanda, the restaurant's connection to downtown Clearwater is an important part of its story.

"We chose Downtown Clearwater as Tequila's home because it has always felt like home to us," Amanda shared.

Guests visiting Tequila's can expect a fun dining experience with regular drink specials and live music. Taco Tuesdays bring food and music together with live performances, while the restaurant's later weekend hours offer another stop for those enjoying concerts and activities downtown.

The menu includes Mexican and Tex-Mex favorites such as fajitas and house-made mole, along with margaritas and desserts prepared in-house.

Tequila's connection to its customers has also grown through the relationships formed over the years. Some guests have been visiting regularly since the restaurant's early days, while the team has continued to build relationships with neighboring businesses.

That connection extends into the community. Tequila's supports local charities, high schools, churches, veteran events and community celebrations and has donated food to event workers and volunteers.

"Community is so important," Amanda said. "It's really important that the people who support us, we can also give back to them."

Through food, hospitality and community involvement, Tequila's continues to contribute to the downtown Clearwater dining experience.
