The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, has visited the construction of 530 affordable rental housing units being built in the Teatinos-Universidad district of Malaga. The housing is co-financed by the Government of Spain, with funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and will be delivered by the end of the year.
The head of the Executive was accompanied by the First Vice-President and Minister for Treasury, María Jesús Montero, the Minister for Housing and Urban Agenda, Isabel Rodríguez, the Government Delegate in Andalusia, Pedro Fernández, and the Mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre.
Pedro Sánchez's Government maintains housing as a priority commitment, as the fifth pillar of the welfare state, and this is demonstrated by the intense action it has taken over the last seven years.
