The Bureau of Land Management has reopened Rim Campground in Natrona County effective July 16, 2026.

Wildlife managers safely relocated a bear that had been active in the area to a habitat better suited for its natural behavior and away from developed recreation sites. The closure was a precautionary measure to ensure public safety.
