SR-163 Connector to Southbound I-5 Closed September 2 to 4

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans maintenance crews will close the southbound State Route 163 (SR-163) connector to southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) from 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, and from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3, and Thursday, September 4 for the installation of broadband infrastructure.

Motorists may exit at Tenth Avenue, turn left onto C Street, and connect to the southbound I-5.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
