BPG Sports, the sports development and management arm of Buccini Pollin Group (BPG), continues to expand its presence across Delaware through new partnerships that strengthen the state's youth sports infrastructure and tourism economy.
Most recently, BPG Sports entered into a long-term agreement to operate and manage Sports at the Beach in Georgetown, Delaware. With this addition, BPG Sports now operates or manages sports facilities in all three Delaware counties, further reinforcing the company's leadership in sports facility management and event programming throughout the region.
Sports at the Beach is one of the region's top youth baseball destinations and lower Delaware's premier recreational sports facility. The Sussex County complex, often referred to as "SATB", features 16 grass baseball fields, concession areas, pavilions, playgrounds, fishing ponds, and additional recreational amenities. The facility is capable of hosting up to 100 teams and approximately 10,000 visitors at a time, making it a significant location for youth tournaments and regional sporting events.
BPG Sports plans to invest in improvements designed to enhance the experience for athletes, families, and tournament organizers. Planned upgrades may include new fencing, parking improvements, and facility enhancements that will help support continued growth in tournament activity.
The partnership with Sports at the Beach follows another major milestone for BPG Sports with its long-term management agreement for DE Turf Sports Complex. Through that collaboration, BPG Sports works alongside facility leadership to expand event programming, attract new tournaments, and identify sponsorship opportunities that elevate the complex's national profile.
These partnerships complement BPG Sports' existing facilities, including the Chase Fieldhouse on the Wilmington Riverfront and the WSFS Bank Sportsplex in Chester, Pennsylvania. Together, these venues have helped position the Delaware Valley as a growing destination for youth sports, tournaments, and large-scale athletic events.
Today, the network of sports venues developed or managed by BPG Sports hosts thousands of events annually, welcoming millions of athletes and visitors each year while generating significant economic impact for the surrounding communities.
As BPG Sports continues to grow, the organization remains focused on delivering best-in-class facilities and programming that support youth athletics, community engagement, and regional tourism.
