An event dedicated to 'The Role of Youth in Strengthening State Independence and Advancing Foreign Policy'

On July 31, 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan held a conference entitled "The Role of Youth in Strengthening State Independence and Promoting Foreign Policy", dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Farrukh Sharifzoda, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Shabnam Rahimzoda, heads of structural and youth units and employees of the Ministry.

During the event, it was noted that youth, as a constructive force and strategic asset of the state, play a key role in promoting foreign policy, protecting national interests and strengthening the international position of the Republic of Tajikistan. During the years of independence, under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, a favorable basis has been created for the formation of a professional, patriotic and competitive young generation, as well as their active participation in public administration and the implementation of the country's foreign policy.

Special attention was also paid to the achievements of state youth policy, the contribution of youth to the sustainable development of the country, and the importance of celebrating the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
