Azerbaijan – Summoning of the Azerbaijani Ambassador (19.11.24)

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to France was summoned to the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs today, Tuesday 19 November.

The summons follows the unacceptable remarks about France and the Europeans made by the Azerbaijani authorities at COP29, as a consequence of which Mme Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister for the Ecological Transition, Energy, the Climate and Risk Prevention, had to cancel her participation in that United Nations conference.

Azerbaijan's hostile acts must cease.
