UAA is seeking a positive, productive professional to administratively support faculty and staff governance groups at the university. This role will be supporting the Faculty Senate leadership, Staff Council leadership and the Chancellor's Office in a variety of committees and projects. This position is primarily administrative in nature and reports to the Chancellor or the Chancellor's delegate. The position requires attending Faculty Senate meetings, Staff Council meetings and numerous committee meetings to record actions taken and create and maintain related records.

The person in this position should have the ability to multitask, be highly organized and enjoy supporting/working with a wide range of people. The person must have the ability to maintain confidentiality where appropriate, be communicative and cooperative with others and be proactive and self-motivated in attending to the work of the position.
