Portland, OR - Christine Drazan back in the news again for efforts to hide her conservative policies on key issues. The Washington Post identified Drazan as the latest Republican candidate for governor caught trying to paper over her record as a far-right extremist, going as far as removing the word "conservative" and opposition to common sense gun safety legislation from her campaign website and voter pamphlet statement.

As the Washington Post put it: "Republicans in competitive races are acknowledging that links to an unpopular Trump at least complicate their paths to victory as the president struggles to convince Americans that the war with Iran was worth starting and that he has a handle on the rising prices they feel every day."

"Drazan can run, but she can't hide from her record of supporting MAGA policies at every opportunity," said Democratic Party Chair Nathan Soltz. "She's finding out what most Oregonians already know: MAGA policies are harmful to Oregon families, and Oregon voters aren't interested."
