Volunteers Welcome for 2025 UW Big Event

The University of Wyoming's Service, Leadership, and Community Engagement (SLCE) Office is planning the 12th annual Big Event Saturday, Oct. 18. It's an opportunity for UW students to say "thank you" to the greater Laramie community through service.

The Big Event promotes campus and community unity as UW students come together for one day to express their gratitude for the support from the surrounding community by completing volunteer projects. In the 2025 Big Event, volunteers will complete service projects directly with nonprofit organizations and government agencies across the community.

This one-day event also presents an opportunity for volunteers to build connections with many organizations that serve the community throughout the year.

Volunteers can learn more about this program and register to volunteer at www.uwyo.edu/bigevent. During registration, volunteers will sign up for the project they will complete during the Big Event. Information about the location, hosting organization and volunteer capacity for each project can be found on the volunteer registration page.
