CASE: Troy Taylor (Case #24FE018611)
PROSECUTOR: Deputy District Attorney Teal Ericson, Special Assault & Child Abuse Unit
On July 24, 2026, the Honorable Kenneth Brody sentenced Troy Taylor to 500 years to life in prison. On June 13, 2025, Taylor was convicted of 10 counts of forcible lewd act upon a child with a multi-victim allegation found true. Taylor also had a prior 2002 child molestation conviction.
Between 2020 and 2023, Troy Taylor repeatedly sexually abused three girls when they were between the ages of 4 and 9 years old. Taylor knew a relative of the three victims and would be left alone with them on various occasions when the abuse occurred, including in a car.
Under current California law, Taylor ( (age 47) will become eligible for release at an Elder Parole hearing once he turns 65 years old and has served 25 years of his 500 years to life prison sentence.
