The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Central Bank of Oman and the Ministry of Finance, participates in the 2024 Joint Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WB), in Washington, D.C. from 23rduntil 26thof October, 2024.
The meetings will cover various important topics including global economic outlook assuming further cuts in the interest rates led by the Fedral Reserve, the Impact from the escalation in the geopolitical conditions in the Middle East and Europe, the climate change, and the witnessed acceleration in the use of AI.
