Join the Arts & Culture Funding Review Panel!

We're looking for volunteer panelists who live or work in Dallas; participate in Dallas Arts; and are willing to provide thoughtful, equity-focused feedback to artists and arts organizations.

When the City awards funding to artists or arts organizations, a volunteer panel of Dallasites with significant arts experience (either as an artist/performer, board member, employee, or committed audience member) will review the applications and make sure that the work fits the Cultural Plan, advances equity, and is a strong use of taxpayer dollars. It's a crucial part of the funding process - panel review is usually about 70 points out of the 100 possible that an artist or organization can receive.

Requirements:

1. 1-hour orientation session
   
   
2. Review/scoring period core applications between July 9th - July 25th
   
   
3. 1.5-hour mandatory wrap-up session
   
   
4. Living and/or working in the City of Dallas (not just Dallas County)
   
   
5. Care deeply about Dallas' arts ecosystem and are involved as a performer, administrator, volunteer, board member, or committed audience member
   
   
6. Willing to devote time to providing honest and constructive feedback
   
   
7. Over the age of 18
