Water Main Repair Closes Portion of South 48th Street

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced the northbound lanes on South 48th Street between Normal Boulevard and South Antelope Creek Road are closed to traffic for water main repairs. Water crews expect water will be restored to residents in the area in the late evening to overnight hours.
Travelers are encouraged to use an alternate route during the Wednesday, September 10 morning traffic commute. Additional street repairs are estimated to be completed by the week of September 27.
LTU appreciates the public's patience and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
