UMSL welcomed a group of about 1,600 new students to campus for the start of the new academic year.
First-year students at the University of Missouri-St. Louis huddled together at the middle of the Don Dallas Soccer Field on Friday afternoon during New Student Orientation and showed off a Louie the Triton logo as UMSL photographer Derik Holtmann used a drone to capture their photo from overhead.
