("Mid Penn") (NASDAQ: MPB), is pleased to announce that William "Bill" Costan has been hired as vice president and retail market manager of the Western Pennsylvania market, reporting to Chief Retail Officer Joan Dickinson. In this role, he will oversee retail operations and business development in the Clearfield and Scottdale regions.
Costan brings a strong background in banking and finance, along with well-earned recognition for his leadership, customer service, and professional excellence. He most recently served as president and chief executive officer at IU7 Federal Credit Union, where he helped stabilize the organization and position it for future success. Prior to that, he spent eight years as chief operations officer and senior vice president at Timberland Federal Credit Union, managing all operations of a four-branch credit union and leading both back and front office functions. His background also includes leadership roles at Holiday Financial Services, Citigroup/OneMain Financial, National City Bank and Mellon Bank.
Costan holds a Bachelor of Science in corporate finance from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and has completed additional coursework in accounting and finance at the University of Phoenix. He is actively involved in his community, serving on the boards of PASSAGES Inc., the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, United Way of Butler County, United Way of Clarion County, Clarion County YMCA, and the Clarion County Kiwanis Club.
