Public Notice for Action Plan for Housing and Community Development

The City of Green Bay, Wisconsin has prepared a draft "Action Plan for Housing and Community Development" covering federal fiscal year 2025 which coincides with the draft 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan. The public is invited to comment on the plans.

The Consolidated Plan is a document which will guide the use of federal housing and community development funds within the City of Green Bay resulting in a viable community with decent housing and suitable living environments and expanding economic opportunities, primarily for persons of low and moderate income. The Annual Action Plan is a document which will guide the use of 2025 Federal Housing and Community Development funds within the City of Green Bay furthering the goals of the Consolidated Plan

(Note: 2025 CDBG Grant is $938,354 and estimated program income is $343,000 which will fund the CDBG Emergency Housing Rehabilitation Program at $70,000, CDBG Administration at $10,000. An additional $263,000 of program income is expected from the Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund, which will all be returned to this program.)

The comment period will run from July 09, 2025 through August 08, 2025. Written comments received at the Department of Community and Economic Development at the address specified above on or before August 08, 2025, will be considered in preparing the final plan.
