Minister Konaković spoke with the Jordanian Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Muhannad Shehadeh Khalil

On January 15, 2026, Elmedin Konaković, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, met with Muhannad Shehadeh Khali, the Minister of State for Economic Affairs in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, during his official visit.

The interlocutors discussed the current state of cooperation between their countries and the potential for future development, with a particular focus on economic projects and investments. Minister Konaković highlighted that Bosnia and Herzegovina is open to foreign investments and encouraged Jordanian businessmen to explore the opportunities available in his country. He also stressed the importance of establishing a direct airline between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Jordan, which would enhance tourism and facilitate business exchanges.

Khalil conveyed Jordan's interest in strengthening economic cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina, noting that there are several areas where joint initiatives could be developed. He emphasized Jordan's readiness to support projects that will contribute to strengthening economic relations and foster a long-term connection between the two friendly nations.
