Indictments in May 19, 2025 Derry, New Hampshire Incident and Death of Gui Lin

Concord, NH -Attorney General John M. Formella announces that the Rockingham Grand Jury has returned indictments in connection with an incident that occurred outside a business in Derry, New Hampshire on May 19, 2025, in which Gui Lin, age 41, was stabbed and killed.

Jeffrey Li, age 19, has been charged with alternative counts of knowing and reckless second-degree murder, and Marco Marquez Vera, age 20, has been charged with reckless second-degree murder for Mr. Lin's death.

Additionally, both Jeffrey Li and Marco Marquez Vera, as well as Ayaan Arshad Nisaar, age 18, all have been charged with armed robbery, attempted armed burglary, and conspiracy to commit armed burglary, in connection with the incident in which Mr. Lin was killed.

The charges and allegations against Jeffrey Li, Marco Marquez Vera, and Ayaan Nisaar are merely accusations, and each is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
