Culinary resilience elective: 'Big Flavor. Small Budget.'
A culinary resilience elective, "Big Flavor. Small Budget.", will be available this semester.
Discover how a little ingenuity can turn humble ingredients into crave-worthy meals. Come explore how necessity, culture, seasonality, and resourcefulness shape our culinary landscape. Chef Travis Haugen, owner and operator of Southside Bistro, will teach you the tricks of the trade before you head to the kitchen to put them to the test in this hands-on elective.
Open to all majors - No experience necessary.
Mondays, Oct. 5, 12 and 19, 1 - 7 p.m.
