One Deceased after Shooting at SE 142/Division

A man is deceased following a shooting in Southeast Portland.

On Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 5:24 p.m., Portland Police Officers assigned to East Precinct responded to a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they locate an adult male injured. Officers applied trauma first aid and summoned paramedics. The man was transported to the hospital by ambulance where, despite lifesaving measures, he died.
The suspect or suspects left the scene before police arrived, and no immediate arrests were made.
Detectives with the Portland Police Homicide Unit are responding to the scene to investigate the case. During the investigation, westbound Southeast Division Street is closed between Southeast 145th Avenue and Southeast 141st Avenue.
