October 15, 2025, Peoria, IL - Peoria County State's Attorney Jodi Hoos has charged three teenagers as adults for the murder of 22-year-old Khmari Davis-Rickmon this past weekend. Orlando J. Hanson Jr., 16, Jamion L. Irby, 17, and Davieon D. Webster, 16, have now been charged with First-Degree Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Handgun. Because of their ages and the nature of the offense, all three are automatically charged as adults. The State has filed Petitions to Detain, which a judge will hear tomorrow.
On October 12, 2025, around 1:30 p.m., officers responded to a 15-round ShotSpotter alert in the 2300 block of W. Antoinette in South Peoria. Upon arrival, they located Rickmon lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
A witness reported hearing gunshots and saw three males, later identified as Hanson, Irby, and Webster, running from where the gunfire occurred into a nearby home. The three teens were taken into custody a short time later. A search of the home recovered three firearms, and shell casings from those guns matched those found at the scene.
This investigation is ongoing. If you have information regarding this incident, please contact the Peoria Police Department at 309-673-4521.
