City to launch Lewisville United Volunteers program

The City of Lewisville is proud to announce the launch of its new city-wide volunteer program, Lewisville United Volunteers (LUV), and is throwing a kickoff party on Thursday, April 30, 5-7 p.m., at Thrive, 1950 S. Valley Parkway to celebrate.

During this come-and-go event, residents can learn about the new volunteer program, meet with the different departments about specific volunteer opportunities, and sign-up on the spot.

Volunteers are key to the success of City events and projects. Each year, thousands of residents dedicate their time and talents to serve, connect, and create meaningful changes throughout this community. By joining LUV, residents are not just volunteering, they're becoming part of a caring network that makes a lasting impact on the lives of their neighbors.

The City offers volunteer opportunities for adults, teens, families, and groups. The application process varies for each program. Visit the Lewisville United Volunteers Portal to see all the programs that are available for volunteers.
