State Representative Ty Moore Testifies for Conservancy District Protection Bill

State Representative Ty Moore (R-Caldwell) provided sponsor testimony before the Ohio House Natural Resources Committee for House Bill 603 - legislation to strengthen conservancy districts' ability to enter into contracts confidently and responsibly.

"We are committed to leveling the playing field for conservancy districts that have been instrumental in strengthening and improving communities throughout Ohio," said Rep. Moore.

This legislation will help conservancy districts operate more effectively by giving them clearer authority and contract protection in order to better help serve their communities. This bill will give conservancy districts greater flexibility to work with modern vendors.

This bill received its first hearing Wednesday and awaits further consideration in the House Natural Resources Committee.
