The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) of Douglas has received a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) application where the applicant seeks to remove existing windows to install a door on the front façade of the commercial building located at 300 Peterson Ave. S, parcel D013 141 (Kribs and Kradles location). This area is within the Downtown Douglas Historic District.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held to review the submitted COA by the HPC on August 28, 2025 at 4:00PM at City Hall, located at 302 S. Madison Ave.

The application can be reviewed at the City of Douglas Community Development Department, Planning & Zoning Division, 302 S. Madison Ave., Douglas, GA 31533, between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (EST), Monday through Friday. Holiday hours may differ. Requests for review of the application may be made by August 27, 2025, by 5:00PM.
