Planned Roadwork for Northwest Missouri, April 7-13

St. Joseph, Mo. - The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of April 7-13.

There also may be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. Check the MoDOT Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org, or download the app for updated information.

Andrew County

Interstate 29 - Resurfacing from U.S. Route 59 north of the Nodaway River to Business 71 north of St. Joseph through July 2025. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).

Atchison County

U.S. Route 136 - Bridge maintenance at the Rock Creek Bridge, April 7-11. The bridge will be narrowed to one lane around-the-clock with a 12 foot with restriction and temporary traffic signals.

Route 46 - Pothole patching from the Nodaway County line to Route EE, April 9-10.

Buchanan County

Route 116 - Resurfacing from U.S. Route 59 near Rushville to U.S. Route 169 through April 2025. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).

Route P - Bridge rehabilitation project at the Third Fork Platte River Bridge, April 9. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2

Route H - Bridge rehabilitation project at the Wolfpen Creek Bridge, April 10. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2

Route DD - Bridge rehabilitation project at the Malden Creek Bridge, April 10. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2

Route M - Bridge rehabilitation project at the Sugar Creek Bridge, April 11. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2

Caldwell County

Route J - CLOSED at the Bridge Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project through May 2025. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin).*1

Route B - Bridge rehabilitation project at the Camp Creek Bridge, April 7. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2

Route D - CLOSED at the Mussel Fork Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project through July 2025. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin).*1

Route P - Bridge rehabilitation project at the Puzzle Creek Bridge, April 7. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2

Route 116 - Resurfacing from U.S. Route 59 near Rushville to U.S. Route 169 through April 2025. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).

Daviess County

Route NN - CLOSED for pothole patching, April 7-9, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

Route B - CLOSED for pothole patching from Route K to Route 190, April 10-11, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

Route J - Bridge rehabilitation project at the Marrowbone Creek and Dog Creek Bridges, April 8. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2

Route 6 - Resurfacing from west of Maysville to Route 31 through April 2025. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).

Route N - CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Route O to Ketchem Road, April 9, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Route EE - CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Wamsley Road to Ketchem Road, April 10, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Holt County

I-29 - Resurfacing from U.S. Route 59 north of the Nodaway River to Business 71 north of St. Joseph through July 2025. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).

I-29 (northbound) - Slide repair south of Route W near Corning through April (Contractor: C.P. Excavating, LLC).

Route C - Culvert replacement at Omaha Road, April 7.

Route DD - Culvert replacement at 120th Road, April 8.

Linn County

Route ZZ - CLOSEDin one-mile increments for pothole patching, April 7-9, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

U.S. Route 36 - Concrete replacement eastbound driving lane from Huron Road to Route 11, April 7-8.

Livingston County

Route D - Bridge rehabilitation project at the Old Channel Shoal Creek Bridge, April 9. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2

Nodaway County

Route NN - CLOSED until further notice at the Platte River Bridge west of Parnell due to significant bridge deterioration.
