5 February 2026
That's why we're inviting you to join an online Amnesty International webinar to stand in solidarity with Sudanese communities, hear directly from people connected to the crisis, and better understand what is happening on the ground, how you can support and why it matters:
Date: Sunday, 15 February 2026
Time: 7pm, AEDT (4pm AWST)
Since 2023, ongoing conflict has killed tens of thousands of civilians. Entire communities have been wiped out. More than 12 million people have been forced to flee their homes. Hospitals, markets and displacement sites have been deliberately attacked. Satellite imagery has uncovered mass graves.
In places like Darfur and Kordofan, civilians are bearing the brunt of escalating violence. Amnesty International has documented deliberate attacks by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and allied militias on civilians and civilian infrastructure - acts that may amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity.
And yet, Sudan remains largely absent from headlines, political debate, and international urgency. This silence is devastating.
Sudanese communities have been calling for protection and justice for far too long. By showing up, listening, and standing with them, we help break the silence that allows this crisis to continue.
Be a part of the conversation - register today. Together, we can help ensure Sudan is not forgotten.
Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 10 million people who take injustice personally. We are campaigning for a world where human rights are enjoyed by all - and we can only do it with your support.
