Chinese Ambassador to North Macedonia Jiang Xiaoyan Holds Media Briefing on China’s Two Sessions

On March 24, 2026, H.E. Mme. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan briefed the press on key takeaways of China's Two Sessions. 

Ambassador Jiang outlined China's historic achievements during the 14th Five-Year Plan and the main goals and strategic priorities for the 15th Five-Year Plan. She noted that the Two Sessions serve as a vivid example of how China's institutional strengths are translated into development outcomes. In the next five years, China will pursue higher-quality development, faster innovation, greener growth as well as lay a more robust security foundation with stronger social welfare network. This will bring greater certainty and new momentum to the world. China will remain open and inclusive, and stands ready to work with all countries for win-win cooperation.

Ambassador Jiang also answered questions on China's social security system and the Healthy China initiative, China-EU relations, China-US relations, and the situation in the Middle East.
