Please join us on Wednesday, September 24, from 12:00-1:00 pm ET for The Role of Academia in Public Health Research: Bridging Theory, Practice, and Partnerships, part of our ASPPH Presents webinar series. At a time when public health research funding faces mounting challenges, the role of academic institutions in sustaining discovery and innovation is more critical than ever. This session will examine how universities continue to lead collaborative, high-impact research that informs policy and practice, even in the face of constrained budgets.
The webinar will be moderated by Dean M. Daniele Fallin, of the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health and Chair of the ASPPH Research Advisory Committee. Panelists include Dean Andrea Baccarelli, of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Dean Melody Goodman, of the New York University School of Global Public Health, and Dr. Jason Asher, Acting Director of the Center for Forecasting and Outbreak Analytics at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Together, they will explore how academia advances impactful research through strong partnerships and resilience.
We encourage you to register and share this opportunity with others.
