Heinrich and Luján filing an amicus brief with 23 other Senate Democrats for immigrant children: "President Trump has done more in one year to protect immigrant children than Senators Ben Ray Luján and Martin Heinrich have done in their entire careers. If they truly cared about the well being of immigrant children, they would support DHS's efforts to arrest violent criminals who pose a threat to kids and dismantle human smuggling operations enabled by the open border policies Democrats have championed for years. Instead, they are following the party line, as shown by an amicus brief with not a single Republican supporter. Meanwhile, President Trump has worked to reunite children separated under the Biden Administration and is honoring family and foreign government requests to return them." - Chairwoman Barela ### |
