Encore Screening of ‘Westhampton’ at The Avram on July 26

The Stony Brook Film Festival is presenting a free encore screening of the award-winning film, Westhampton, July 26 at the Avram Theater at Stony Brook Southampton.

Written and directed by Christian Nilsson, Westhampton won the Jury Award for Directing at the Stony Brook Film Festival last year. The film is a beautifully shot tale of forgiveness and acceptance by Nilsson, a Long Island native.

A reception will precede the film at 6:30 pm, and a Q&A with the filmmakers will follow the screening at 8:45 pm.

The screening wraps up the 31st annual Stony Brook Film Festival, presented by Stony Brook Medicine, which will be held at the Staller Center for the Arts from July 16-25, with 36 films from 23 countries, filmmaker Q&As, special events and some of the year's most acclaimed independent cinema.
