Security Council to Take Up Situation in Iraq

Council members will have before them two relevant reports of the Secretary-General.

The first covers developments pertaining to missing Kuwaiti and third-country nationals and missing Kuwaiti property, including the national archives, covering the period following the last such report on 24 November 2024 (document S/2025/320). This report was submitted pursuant to resolutions 2107 (2013) and 2732 (2024).

The second concerns progress made towards fulfilling UNAMI's mandate (document S/2025/323). Submitted pursuant to resolution 2732 (2024), it covers key developments relating to Iraq and provides an update on UN activities in the country since the last such report on 26 November 2024.
