CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Significant improvements have been made to the North Beach area in the last five years. During today's regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the Council received a presentation on updates for ongoing and recently completed projects revitalizing North Beach. Current projects include North Beach drainage improvements, design for the elevation and reconstruction of Beach Avenue and Gulfspray Avenue, and design for a Gulfspray Avenue pedestrian and bicycle trail.
Members from the North Beach Community Association were in attendance and favorably acknowledged the improvements.
Completed projects include renovating Surfside Park restrooms, the play area, expanded parking, and collaborating with the Texas State Aquarium on the new Wildlife Rescue Center.
