The University of North Florida is partnering with the University of Florida's Florida Semiconductor Institute to host STEM on the Lawn, a free community event, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the J.B. Coxwell Amphitheater.
STEM on the Lawn is specifically geared toward K-12 students and their families and will provide engaging, hands-on STEM experiences for learners of all ages. The event is designed to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, inventors, and problem-solvers.
Activities and exhibitors will include robotics and engineering demonstrations, virtual reality experiences, science activities, interactive exhibits, university and industry partners, STEM organizations, and opportunities for students to learn more about future educational and career opportunities in STEM.
Whether meeting a robot, exploring virtual reality or discovering how semiconductors power everyday technology, there's something for every curious mind.
