Albares meets with the new US ambassador to Spain

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, met with the new US Ambassador to Spain, Benjamin León Jr., to discuss the main issues on the bilateral agenda.

Albares received the ambassador upon his arrival in Madrid, on the eve of the presentation of his credentials to His Majesty the King, a ceremony the minister will also attend, and conveyed his best wishes for success in his diplomatic mission.

Spain and the United States maintain strong bilateral relations that both countries are confident they will continue to strengthen and deepen in the political, security, economic, cultural, and scientific spheres, among others.
