Achieving Volunteerism Milestones: Marriott surpassed its global volunteerism goal by more than 600,000 hours - one year early - contributing more than 15.6 million hours of service between 2016 and 2024.

Championing Biodiversity and Ecosystem Protection: Marriott associates, hotels and Business Councils engaged in over 6,000 bio-related activities, helping protect and restore local ecosystems.

Elevating Sustainability Standards: 15% of hotels in the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio were certified to a recognized sustainability standard as of year-end 2024.

Driving Waste Reduction: Marriott reduced waste to landfill intensity by about 23% and food waste to landfill intensity by about 29% compared to its 2019 baseline.

Leading Human Trafficking Awareness Training: Between 2016 and the end of 2024, more than 1.4 million associates across managed and franchised Marriott properties were trained on human trafficking awareness.

Creating Impact with Charitable Giving: Marriott, along with hotels, associates, Business Councils, and guests, contributed nearly $52 million to support communities and philanthropic causes, of which nearly $27 million was provided through in-kind donations and more than $25 million was donated in cash contributions in 2024.

Supporting Communities in Crisis: The Marriott Disaster Relief Fund provided over $2.6 million in 2024 to support more than 4,000 managed and franchised associates and humanitarian organizations in response to global disasters.
