Readout from Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent’s Meeting with Saudi Arabian Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan
WASHINGTON - Yesterday, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent met with Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Jadaan to discuss ongoing economic cooperation between the United States and Saudi Arabia. Secretary Bessent and Minister al-Jadaan highlighted progress on several bilateral initiatives being implemented by the U.S. and Saudi Arabia. During their meeting, Secretary Bessent was pleased to join with Minister al-Jadaan in signing a Tax Information Exchange Agreement.
The Secretary acknowledged Saudi Arabia's continued cooperation and resilience since the start of the Iranian conflict and thanked the Minister for Saudi Arabia's partnership.
