Liquid Gas Europe Announces New Leadership

At the European Liquid Gas Congress 2025 in Katowice, Poland, the General Assembly of Liquid Gas Europe elected Markus Dreier (UGI) as President, Silvia Migliorini (Assogasliquidi-Federchimica) as Vice-President, and Esther Busscher (SHV Energy) as Treasurer. Together, they bring a broad mix of skills and experience, from Markus's technical expertise in safety and operations, to Silvia's legal and regulatory insight in the Italian energy landscape, and Esther's strong focus on sustainability and European public affairs. This blend of operational, regulatory, and advocacy work strengthens the association's ability to navigate evolving policy developments and address a wide range of sector challenges and opportunities.

As Europe's energy transition gathers pace, the liquid gas sector must navigate both challenges and opportunities - from delivering a just decarbonisation of rural communities to securing stronger recognition for renewable liquid gases in EU policy.
