MPD Investigating Southeast Homicide

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in Southeast.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at approximately 10:52 p.m., officers of the Seventh District responded to the sounds of gunshots in the 3300 block of 6^th Street, Southeast. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where after all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounceddead.

The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Keion Naylor, of Suitland, MD.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
