St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador - Fisheries and Oceans Canada will hold a media technical briefing to provide an update on the management approach for key commercial fisheries in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Embargo Terms: By participating, media understand and agree to the terms of the embargo. The embargo on the technical briefing will remain in effect until the issuance of the news release on Canada.ca at approximately 11:30 a.m. NDT. Participants will not discuss or release the materials or information in any manner until the embargo is lifted.

The technical briefing will be for attribution. Should the terms of the embargo be breached, participants and/or their organizations may not be permitted to participate in future Government of Canada embargoed briefings.
